You’ll feel comfortable the moment you walk in to Burtis Chiropractic Center. In our bright, modern space, our staff is ready to warmly greet you. We’ll treat you just like family as soon as you arrive!

Your First Visit

To start, we’ll have you fill out some paperwork. Then, our chiropractic assistant will conduct a spinal scan with the INSiGHT™ Subluxation Station to assess your spine and nervous system. The two scans taken are as follows:

  •  Surface electromyography (sEMG). This scan measures the amount of current in the muscles along your spine.
  •  Thermal scan. This scan measures temperatures on each side of your spine.

Next, you’ll have a consultation and examination with Dr. Burtis to discuss your concerns and look at your spinal scans. Afterward, we’ll give you a chiropractic adjustment or any necessary soft tissue therapy. You’ll be given any home instructions that are relevant to your situation and will schedule a follow up visit.

Your Second Visit

This visit is called your report of findings. You’ll meet with Dr. Burtis to review the results of your examination. We’ll go over your recommended plan of care and answer all of your questions.

Financial Plan

Our office policy requires payment at the time of service. We offer cost savings pre-paid package plans with financial arrangements or other options to fit your budget.

We are an out-of-network insurance provider, but we have an experienced billing and insurance specialist who will submit your claims to allow for you to be reimbursed directly. We’ve chosen this option so that we work for you, not the insurance company. We accept workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, and much of the time those will cover 100% of your costs.

How Long You’ll Continue Care

Most people are under the assumption that if they don’t feel pain that there is nothing wrong with them-that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. Pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced. Whether you are talking about cancer, heart disease, diabetes, stress or problems with the spine, pain is usually the last thing to appear.

When you begin chiropractic care, pain is also the first symptom to disappear, even though much of the underlying condition remains. You can avoid a relapse with regular visits. Once you’re fully healed, routine care can help your body overcome various health challenges. People who choose a chiropractic lifestyle report better quality of life, improved physical health, more energy and vitality, improved emotional health and fewer drugs in their lives.
